Three notices like last year, one for the ASL, to collect applications for the processing of meat from wild ungulates killed essentially as part of control plans, to then be donated to charity and distributed by the Food BankThe initiative has been repeated every year since 2021 and this year too it has been re-proposed by the Region.
The dual objective
The three notices have already been published and there is time until 13:20 p.m. on December XNUMX to come forward and submit the application. The objective is twofold: to guarantee safety in the processing of meat, which will be vacuum-packed and frozen, and to offer support to sections of the population in need and difficulty.
Territorial network
The processed carcasses will be entrusted for distribution to the Tuscan Food Bank, which has a functional and effective, as well as safe, territorial organization and network (source: Tuscany Region).
