To the solicitations on several occasions expressed by the Confederation of Tuscan Hunters at the address of politics and the regional council are following important initiatives also by authoritative exponents of Regional Council. In this regard, it is appropriate to mention the motion presented by the Director Andrea Pieroni (PD Group), approved yesterday by the council chamber, in which the council is asked to speed up the path towards the new Regional Hunting Wildlife Plan and for the constitution of the Scientific Technical Committee.
A decisive tool is that of the Hunting Wildlife Plan to activate an adequate programming that will be supported by the constitution of the Scientific Technical Committee, as foreseen by the changes made last July, to the Regional Law on hunting n ° 3/94. The initiative by councilor Pieroni, therefore, goes in the right direction, highlighting how the authoritative and "third" role of a structure with a strong scientific imprint, can act and contribute to future strategic choices in wildlife-hunting and management matters.
With regard to this, just yesterday Federcaccia Toscana presented, in agreement with the Confederate Associations to the CCT, the candidacy as a representative within the Scientific Technical Committee by Prof. Natale Emilio Baldaccini, full professor of Ethology at the biology department of the University of Pisa, former member of the Tuscan Regional Council for protected areas and biodiversity. A profile of great experience and high scientific value that we want to thank also on this occasion, for giving his willingness to play this important role. One confirmation among many, of how the most attentive and qualified hunting world knows and can make a contribution of high value on aspects of general interest and in support of institutions.
