La Italian Setter Society (SIS, ENCI affiliate), the Confederation of Tuscan Hunters and Italian Club Epagneul Breton, in addition to the provincial section of Pistoia ofArch Hunting have organized a course for the training of woodcock monitors. Lessons will be held in the presence of teachers CEDAF, namely the Faunal Environmental Education Center, the training agency that is recognized by the Region.
The course will take place on the days of 4 and 5 March next at “La Cascina dei Lagoni” in La Collina-Pistoia. The total cost will be 60 euros and on the second day it will be possible subject the dogs to the test of the Italian National Dog-loving Body to enable monitoring. The training event is therefore a very interesting opportunity to learn the details and secrets of the woodcock monitor: usually these lessons have to do with the biology, study and management of the species, but also with the hunting technique and dog lovers. The specialist hunter will then receive a certificate regarding the qualification.
