The contests in the program
Over the past weekend, the TSN in Naples hosted the 2024 Italian Muzzle Loading Championships. Numerous contests were scheduled that awarded the Italian titles of six different categories.
The first three titles
KUCHENREUTER REPLICA
Carmine Vigliotti (Naples) narrowly won 135-134 over Gennaro Romolo (Benevento), while third place with 129 points was taken by Franco Salvatore Palladino (Benevento).
ORIGINAL COLT
The podium was occupied by three representatives of TSN Napoli: Fabrizio Gargiulo, first at 124, followed by Massimo Correra, second at 86, and Carlo Saggiomo, third at 74.
SMITH & WESSON
Fabrizio Gargiulo also took this tricolor crown, once again on a podium occupied by the standard-bearers of TSN Naples: 126 was the score with which Gargiulo preceded Ennio Migliarotti (115) and Carmine Vigliotti (103).
Other results
VETTERLI REPLICA
Domenico Bartolomeo De Iuri (Naples) won with a total of 133 points. Behind him Andrea Vicini (Parma) is second with 130, while Filippo Gargarella took the lowest step of the podium with 116 points.
PENNSYLVANIA REPLICA
The category duel between Andrea Vicini and Luigi Piscopo (Naples) was won by the former with a score of 133 to 110.
LAMARMORA REPLICA
Andrea Vicini also won this title with a score of 138, ahead of Domenico Bartolomeo De Iuri, second at 127, and Marcello Lepore (Naples), third at 120 (source: UITS).
