Umbrian hunting federation welcomes the decision of Councilor Morroni and relaunches the major issues of exchange and biodiversity. The association learns with favor, and for this thanks the competent regional Councilorship, of reintegration of the lapwing and the pochard between huntable species and the restoration of the afternoon timetable for the training and training of dogs, in full compliance with the national framework law 157/92. That said, it should be noted however that both measures were already part of the originally pre-adopted draft hunting calendar, and then modified by the Department itself.
We therefore welcome the news of the new change of orientation by the councilor Morroni, to whom we reiterate the need to give greater certainty to the entire regional hunting world. To date, in fact, there is still no news of interregional agreements for hunting mobility, while we are witnessing an inexplicable delay in the supply of hunting cards, as well as it is urgent to know something about any species in derogation that the Region of Umbria will - perhaps - request from Ispra.
Similarly, we do not understand the decision regarding the timing for hunting hare, just as we urge a more concrete plan for the containment of critical species, to protect biodiversity and the faunal balance of our ecosystems, both for huntable species and for those protected, which constitute the vast majority of the national and regional faunal heritage.
