Ungulate emergency in Tuscany. Waiting for the outcome of the ongoing debate connected with the approval of the "Objective Law" which, in the intentions of the Region, should put an end to the emergency ungulates.
The Confederation hunters Toscani intervened repeatedly, with proposals aimed at promoting the feasibility and effectiveness of the measures, from the moment of presentation by the Assessor to the competent commission and subsequently to the Commission itself and, ultimately, to the group leaders in the Regional Council.
At the center of the concerns expressed by the CCT are concrete aspects, dictated by experience and which aim to ensure the main actors involved, the hunters, and the local wildlife management bodies, the Territorial Hunting Areas, the effective possibility of using the most effective ways. "You cannot assign tasks and responsibilities without ensuring adequate operational tools": this is the message entrusted to the advisers by the Confederation of Tuscan Hunters.
A decidedly constructive approach that still holds firm the need to intervene well and quickly. The success of management policies will thus be the best response to the aggressive campaign and the unlikely proposals of certain animalism.
