Hunting for ungulates. The Province simplifies the rules for the identification seal of culled animals. The Provincial Council voted yes unanimously, a compact Pd group, the minority councilors Cenni and Bonacchi absent.
Provincial councilor Emanuele Pacini illustrated the provision that introduces an amendment to the regulation for the wildlife-hunting management of ungulates. “This is a necessary simplification. First of all it makes ai much easier hunters respect the rules and also avoid disputes between the police in charge of controls, from the provincial police to the various voluntary guards - explained Pacini ”.
Until now, the ATC 4 identification seal had to be compulsorily affixed before the removal of the head from the killing site and this involved difficulties in the case of difficult ground conditions or the possibility that it was lost in loading operations. The new rule establishes that the mark is affixed before moving or before loading and transport to another place.
The hunter may move the animal without the mark only to reach the loading point on the means of transport from the actual killing site. It is also better clarified that the person responsible for the seal is the one who guides it beat or his delegate. The Board voted for immediate enforceability and therefore the provision is already in force.
