In Val Borbera (province of Alessandria) there are many ungulates, but the same cannot be said of hunters. Precisely for this reason the Territorial Areas of Hunting 3 and 4 have decided to prepare a course that trains and authorizes interested personnel to participate in the selection hunt a roe deer, fallow deer and wild boar. The lessons were organized taking inspiration from a resolution of the Piedmontese Province, but there is nothing in common with the extraordinary abatements of the same local authority that ISPRA is evaluating.
The Province of Alessandria explained that courses of this type take place regardless of the emergency, always taking into due consideration the needs of farmers and ordinary citizens. Roe deer are certainly the most common animals in this area. In fact, we are talking about almost 2 thousand specimens in the Novese and Tortonese areas, while the fallow deer are less numerous. The lessons we are talking about have been designed for hunters who are in possession of thehunting qualification.
Once the training course is finished, it will be possible to take part in the selection hunt, which also includes deer and chamois among the species to be taken. The minimum number of participants was set at 25, while they cannot be more than 120. The costs were also disclosed, ie 120 euros for the complete “package” or 50 euros if the hunter is interested in only one species.
