Vector opticsFounded in 2007 by Stephen Shen, it was one of the first Chinese optics manufacturers to launch its own brand for hunting, shooting, and defense, targeting the US market in particular. It achieved excellent results in just a few years. This beautiful riflescope from the Continental Top Line, with a 6x zoom in the first focal plane, a 56 mm objective lens, a 34 mm tube, and high-resolution lenses, is designed for PRS and DMR sporting disciplines and, more generally, for medium- to long-range shooting. The first focal plane magnification is certainly an excellent choice for fast-moving shots and, therefore, for disciplines such as PRS and DMR.
Continental Line
The 6x zoom line includes the 1-6×24, 2-12×44, 2,5-15×56, 3-18×50, and our signature 6-36×56. These models share high-quality mechanics and high-definition lenses. German Schott HT glass with VePpro FMC coating guarantees 90% light transmission for crystal-clear, bright images.
It's a type of fully multi-coated coating used by Vector Optics for its lenses, which improves sharpness, contrast, and light transmission. The "Ve" indicates that the technology is proprietary to Vector Optics.

That said, it's clear that this series, and the model we tested in particular, can also be successfully used for hunting. Of course, we're used to thinking of the Vec-Mbr2 reticle as more tactical than hunting: it allows for rangefinding and rapid target acquisition, and only the central crosshair and the dot in the center of the Christmas tree are illuminated in red with 11 levels that adapt to various lighting conditions.
The center dot measures 0,035 Mil, with each increment of the reference marks 0,2 Mil. The extra large tube diameter maximizes the adjustment range to 31,5 Mil in elevation and 20 Mil in windage, with 1/10 Mil click values.
The magic of turrets
The clicks of the turret adjustments are audible, and the Lrz turret itself is designed for PRS competition. The lock prevents accidental adjustment, and the zero stop allows for effortless return to the preset zero point without counting clicks.
An ingenious system allows you to make the turret complete 3 revolutions while knowing exactly which revolution you are in, thanks to a red reference.

The standard turret is also available, along with the extensive standard features. The left side turret includes the reticle illumination adjustment ring and the parallax adjustment ring, from 10 meters to infinity.
The eye relief is 100 mm, the scope measures 404 x 91 x 74 mm, and it weighs 861 grams. It's not super compact, but it's moderately lightweight.

The optics are nitrogen-filled to eliminate any traces of moisture inside. They also feature O-rings to prevent dust or moisture from entering. The body and mechanics appear solid and robust.
It's quick and easy to use, but you do need to be familiar with the reticle, which is quite intuitive. Even at the range, the sighting is very good, and the reticle illumination is a great help in low-light conditions.
The turret action is perfect, zeroing is easy, and the eye relief, diopter compensation, and focus adjustment are comfortable. The price is very attractive considering the features and the careful construction.
