“The trails of the Altavia dei Berici cannot be considered a carriage road. And therefore there must be no limitations to hunting ”. Thus the provincial president of the Venetian Hunters Association of Vicenza, Umberto Venturini, intervenes on the problem of hunting and safety for visitors to the routes of the Altavia dei Berici, raised by the Veneto protectionist coordination. In the area of the project, 120 kilometers of ancient paths in the territory of 17 municipalities of the Berici Hills, some hunters have already been fined by the Enpa zoophile guards and have filed an appeal in the Province. "The zoophile guards in a dubious situation, however, proceed with the sanctions, we have become accustomed and we are moving to verify how true these reports are - says Umberto Venturini, president of the hunters association which in the Vicenza area has almost 7 thousand members - the law, however, is clear and speaks of carriage roads to which the limitations to hunting can be applied: mountain paths are not considered as such ".
