“Extended” control room
Tough stance taken by ACR, CONFAVI, FCR, ACV and Italcaccia after the joint note from the “enlarged” control room aimed at the Veneto Region. Here is what the associations just mentioned wrote: “With a hilarious press release, the hunting managers of the elusive and inconclusive extended control room of the Veneto try to shift their responsibility for the disaster resulting from the two recent sentences of the Veneto TAR which have further decimated the regional hunting calendar after the previous ones sentences of the TAR itself at the beginning of the season".
A real disaster
The note continues: “Once the disaster has occurred, these unaware managers are now asking the Council to take action and issue a new resolution to restore the hunting times foreseen by the current hunting calendar. We want to remind these unaware managers who pretend to fall from the clouds that in addition to having suggested to the Council how to prepare the calendar for the new hunting season, they have also done so for the last four seasons with an identical and disastrous result".
Venetian hunters
"The least the Council can do now is to immediately issue a new resolution to correct its errors which caused the sentences of the Veneto TAR but it comes naturally to us to ask a question both to the unaware managers of the enlarged cabin and to the Council: perhaps this was not the case to listen to the advice that our associations had provided for the preparation of the regional calendar? Who will repay the Venetian hunters for the damages suffered due to the improvisation and lack of knowledge of the subject of those who set themselves up as presumed know-it-alls but who in reality demonstrate that they are not up to the task?".
“Noisy” protest
"Among the hunting managers who pretend to fall from the clouds, regional managers who try to climb the mirrors like Spider-Man, legitimized by politicians who do not distinguish the difference between a parakeet and a guinea fowl, the hunters of the Veneto can do nothing but clearly express their indignation and make their protest heard loudly so that their rights and dignity can be protected again” (source: ACR).
