Great satisfaction
“It is with great satisfaction that the Cabinet met on November 25th at the proposal of the Minister for Regional Affairs and Autonomies Roberto Calderoli, examined 14 laws of the Regions and Autonomous Provinces and therefore decided not to challenge the Veneto Region Law no. 25 of 2/10/2024 'Amendments to the regional law of 9 December 1993, no. 50 - Rules for the protection of wild fauna and for hunting'". Thus the presidents of the Hunting Associations constituting the Veneto Regional Control Room - Federcaccia; ANLC; Enalcaccia; Arcicaccia; ANUUMigratoristi; EPS; Caccia, Pesca e Ambiente - comment on the reported result.
Experienced Lawyers
“Law – the signatories of the note continue – that after a long work of elaboration, proposal and dialogue made by the VENETIAN HUNTING ASSOCIATIONS OF THE CONTROL CABIN with the leaders of the Region, had been approved by the Regional Council to give serenity to hunters and for a clarity of the legislation that cannot be interpreted differently. The long work done saw as a preliminary phase that of assigning a group of lawyers expert in the legislative and regulatory sector to identify a path that would lead to a certain result”.
A first step
"The work continued with numerous meetings that began last January with almost all the political forces represented in the Regional Council of the majority and opposition; as well as with various institutional meetings in the presence of the assessor Corazzari, the President of the third council commission Andreoli, together with various regional managers to build a framework that could overcome all the legal and political obstacles. Today we can only be satisfied with the first step of a long journey that still awaits us".
