Hunting: Veneto, the new Wildlife Hunting Plan in the pipeline after the approval of the Regional Council; the next steps the SEA and the definitive examination of the Council.
After having received 114 communications from different subjects, containing 703 observations on the proposed new Wildlife Hunting Plan, the Regional Council, in its last session on the proposal of the Councilor for Hunting, approved the list of observations received and the methods of their implementation by the regional administration.
“All stakeholders - underlines the Councilor - were able to express their evaluations, proposals and contributions which are formalized in this resolution. Now the proposed Plan will be examined by the Vas Commission (Strategic Environmental Assessment) for the numerous environmental aspects addressed by as many as 203 observations. "
“It is the last technical step - adds the Councilor with satisfaction - which will soon be followed by approval by the regional council and transmission to the Council for the final vote. The result - concludes the regional manager of the hunting activity - a modern and balanced plan, because it is able to reconcile the needs of hunters and their sacred right to exercise a passion that is in the identity tradition of Veneto, and those of the protection of environment and fauna ".
