The provincial section of Teramo delle Environmental Guards of Italy invited the Territorial Hunting Areas to clarify the hunting collection of partridges. Many hunters would not have been adequately informed on the subject, although there have been several solicitations to the presidents of the ATCs. For this reason, while awaiting the response, the Guards have addressed the Abruzzo region, in order to obtain explanations on the huntability of the bird in the Teramo area.
The Regional Hunting Office has made it known that it is not yet known which Areas have developed and authorized the withdrawal plans: consequently, the Abruzzo Region has ordered the same ATCs to communicate the huntedness with suitable means, so that it is known by all and no more confusion and uncertainty is created.
As reported by the Environmental Guards of Teramo, nothing is specified yet on the websites of the Vomano and Salinello areas. The official note of the provincial section closes with a question: "Wouldn't it be the case to get out of this cataleptic state by putting an end to the problem?". It is not considered conceivable that hunters go hunting with the doubt of the legitimacy or otherwise of culling partridges, given that there is risk of sanctions.
