For a recent invitation to a deer hunt in Austria, I spoke to friends of Redolfi Arms who helped me choose the ideal combination for the type of hunting, suggesting a combination made up of an optic Delta Titanium HD 2.5-15×56, designed for use with high definition lenses, and a Bergara rifle cal. 300 Win. Mag.
Features of the Telescope
The scope features a 30mm tube and offers fine reticles, located in the second focal plane. Adjustments are in ¼ MOA increments, corresponding to approximately 7mm at 100 meters. One of the most useful features is the third turret on the left, which allows you to adjust the brightness of the center dot and the parallax coaxially.

The 2,5x to 15x magnification range is extremely versatile. The minimum 2,5x configuration is also perfect for mobile hunts, allowing the hunter to tackle both tracking and situations where game moves in the field of view. In long-distance situations, such as when dealing with extremely wary animals, the magnification power up to 15x proves crucial. This is especially useful for long-range shots, where accuracy is key.

The optical parameters are rounded off with an eye relief of 98 mm and a variable exit pupil from 11,6 to 5,6 mm, which facilitates focusing. The 56 mm objective lens is definitely convenient, especially during the twilight hours, when visibility is reduced and every moment can make the difference. This can decide between a frustrating return and a triumphant success. Note to consider is that the light transmission and mechanical resistance have been confirmed by tests conducted at the German DEVA institute.

With a robust body – Aluminum 70%, Brass –20%, Steel –10% – and a 30 mm resistant, the Delta Titanium HD is designed to last over time and to withstand stress. Every aspect is designed to optimize the hunting experience, ensuring that, in adverse light conditions, the eye captures every detail necessary for an accurate shot.

At the shooting range, during the calibration phase, I had the opportunity to verify what was the first impression. I appreciated the precision, the ease of adjustments, the width of the field of view, the brightness and the sharpness of the images. Overall, it is a high-level product that is offered on the market at a much more than competitive price. Also a winner is the combo with the Bergara 300 Win. Mag. rifle that I hope to christen right in Austria with a beautiful European deer!
