Moreno Periccioli, Chairman of the Regional Federcaccia of Tuscany, responded to some controversies triggered by other hunting associations, specifically Arci Caccia and Libera Caccia. The latter commented on the intervention on the initiative promoted by Confagricoltura at the Madonnino Fair about the Objective Law. According to the reconstruction, Periccioli would have said that the teams of wild boarists must pay for the damage caused by the ungulates.
The president, however, specified that he had simply developed another reasoning. According to him, the text does not work because of the lack of active involvement of the teams themselves. Federcaccia Toscana has proposed a strip of territory that can surround the suitable areas and in which prevention, control and selection refer to the teams of registered hunters and selecontrollers. Furthermore, the principle of responsibility should be re-proposed to link hunters to land management.
Periccioli did not like the controversy, considered too free and based on the mystification of positions of the Federcaccia. The president then recalled how Arci Caccia did not judge the Objective Law, while Libera Caccia did not make any proposals. The conclusion of the intervention is very decisive: "We talk to people's heads, while we gladly leave it to others to urge the belly".
