In the usual weekly column "Cacciapensieri" the Provincial Federcaccia of Brescia she went back to talking aboutwild boar emergency. As explained by the association, just yesterday the regional councilor for the environment, Fabio Rolfi, presented the ISPRA guidelines on the management of ungulates to the Regional Offices. The document is very important for plan the hunting activity and control of authorized personnel. The huntable territory is divided into various suitable areas and non-suitable areas: in the former the hunting will take place in an organized form through hunted and also taking advantage of the selection, taking a cue from specific abatement plans.
In non-suitable areas, on the other hand, the eradication of wild animals will be aimed, areas in which the collection should be authorized to individual hunters in selective form. Federcaccia Brescia would like to know more about the role of the Provincial Police and the hunters who took part in the capture with their dogs, a story that triggered an investigation. The investigation will have to end and only in that moment can there be a participation of the hunting world.
The requests for intervention to protect agriculture are many and come from the territory and from private citizens, but also from the mayors. Without the packs of dogs and authorized operators, however, the emergency cannot be curbed. Rolfi's position was welcomed by the provincial association.
