This is what the councilor for hunting, Fernanda Cecchini, declares, making it known that the regional council has definitively approved the modification of the regional regulation of the hunting levy of the boar. “A good text, the result of a work of sharing and analysis. The process of the act was concluded which - he recalls - after being pre-adopted by the Executive Committee, in addition to obtaining the favorable opinion of the competent council commission, was the subject of a serious and in-depth comparison and was also widely debated in the assembly with the Umbrian hunting world which took place last March 16 and which was also attended by the president of the Catiuscia Marini Region ”.
"In the final text - notes the commissioner - we have incorporated some indications from the council commission and the solicitations expressed by the hunting associations during the participation". Among the salient points, "a greater control by the Region in the management of the species through the transmission by the ATC, the territorial hunting areas, monitoring plans and assessments on the consistency of wild boar populations with the related culling plans from submit to the scrutiny of the Regional Wildlife Observatory ". In the regulation that will now be in force, "specific prescriptions are identified for individual hunting hunting while the prescriptions for the wild boar hunting to appearance ".
There is the “recognition for the teams with the best organizational skills and the greatest extraction efficiency through the assignment of a priority of choice of hunting sectors; considering the short interval of time available to the Atc - explains the commissioner - the application of this rule has been postponed to the 2016 hunting season, to allow the Atc themselves to prepare its implementation with due attention ".
It is foreseen "the possibility, upon specific authorization of the Atc for management efficiency needs - he continues - to carry out joint hunts exclusively on Thursday, for a maximum number of three per hunting season". Finally, "the prohibition of registration in the register of teams allowed to practice wild boar hunting, for the next two hunting seasons, for new teams".
