During the numerous meetings carried out with the wildlife-hunting council, the proposals and indications presented by the participating associations were collected and the synthesis work led to the production of the text approved by the regional council, placing itself as a point of balance between the various needs. The proposed regulation approved by the Executive aims to resolve the various issues related to the damage caused by wildlife and is the result of intense work carried out by the Working Group set up by the Region which, after a careful analysis of the phenomenon, has formulated a series of proposals for adaptation, correction and modification of the current legislative, regulatory and planning tools for the management and containment of the species ".
“The priority and shared objectives that the revision work had set for itself, - underlined Cecchini - concerned the strengthening of the scope of the hunting pressure on the species through the expansion of hunting methods (search and appearance); recognition for teams with the best organizational skills and greater harvesting efficiency through the assignment of a priority for the choice of hunting sectors and greater control by the Region in the management of the species through the transmission of plans by the ATCs monitoring and evaluations on the consistency of wild boar populations with the related abatement plans to be subjected to scrutiny by the Wildlife Observatory ".
