Wild Boar Hunting: The Department of Agricultural Policies of Foggia wants to enact a new regulation to make hunting better.
The course for selecontroller hunters that was held in Foggia starting from February 5th 2010 until February 26th 2010 ended with excellent results and with many ideas. The Department of Agricultural Policies of the Province of Foggia, which in reality also takes care of the aspects relating to hunting and fishing in this area, represented by the Councilor Savino Santarella, wants to take the situation in hand to be able to give the most appropriate regulation possible to hunt wild boar.
Santarella stressed the importance of making decisions that consider both the environment and the hunters. Any decision must, in fact, protect and safeguard the environment and the ecosystem present but on the other hand must also consider the needs of the hunters themselves. Santarella aims at a regulation of hunting that can improve it from every point of view. The controller selector hunters who trained with the course are a valuable tool that can help in the implementation of this type of regulation.
The Department of Agricultural Policies has decided to draw up a draft regulation to be submitted to the attention of all the other hunting associations present in the area. If the associations manage to find an agreement between them, the regulation could be exposed, for the purpose of its approval, to the council assembly.
