The regional coordination ofUmbria of the Wild boar teams met the councilor for hunting, Fernanda Cecchini, and the presidents of the ATC 1, 2 and 3. The meeting was also attended by representatives of Federcaccia, Libera Caccia and Arci Caccia, as well as agricultural associations. The confrontation covered three major issues, namely the recent ruling of the Constitutional Court is it concerned Liguria, the amendments to the regional regulation for wild boar hunting and the criteria for assigning the objectives of animals to be killed.
Il regulation it caused a lot of discussion. Umbrian hunters would like to modify it from top to bottom. In particular, the teams would like to abolish the scores and put in place a management plan that is based on serious and scientific data, without forgetting the collaboration between hunters, farmers and institutions. The hunters then asked to planning interventions in parks and protected areas, in addition to the creation of the short supply chain to legally market the wild boar meat and create new jobs.
Among the requests, then, there is a serious strategy of census and the uniformity of the opening of this hunting collection compared to neighboring regions. There is a belief that these requests are in the interest of the hunting world, but also of all citizens who do not hunt.
