"How big, really huge!" The teachers have filmed them with cell phones, wild boars outside the Leopardi kindergarten, in the magnificent park of monte mario. Rooted in front of it, mother boar and her two cubs, directed towards Villa Stuart where by now, everyone knows, there is a small invasion also because they would have opened a passage in the fence. But here, returning to Leopardi, where even the animals had often been sighted, this time the difference was made by the reaction of the school, which asked the parents to go and collect the children earlier, by 16pm instead of 16.30pm, so that the brigade could intervene, to escort and therefore protect the pupils.

"We are not scared just because we are a little used to their presence by now - says Silvia, mother of three children who attend one childhood and two primary school -, so we did not fear for the little ones, after all when we arrived there were no longer the wild boars but two police patrols: the problem was organizational, because we were warned only at one o'clock to pick up the children earlier ».

Yes, because the message shot by the teachers of childhood anticipated the release: "This morning - the teachers wrote to their parents - some wild boars have approached the school and as a matter of safety they ask us the courtesy to fetch the children no later than 16 pm because they will come out accompanied and escorted by the police ». "It is the first time that wild boars have caused an early exit - says Chiara, another childhood mother -, but the fact is that they are often spotted near the gates also due to the problem of full canteen bins ».

In fact, reports continue to arrive on this to the municipal councilor, including from the school: "These are the canteen bins - explains Figà Talamanca -, a specific type that must be collected between 14,30pm and 15pm but often Ama, or the contractors that complicate the management, skip the loop and do not pass until the next day ».
