The other number of requests is determined by the fact that the ungulates, also due to the lockdown period, have conquered new spaces, even in urbanized areas. The regional councilor of Friuli Venezia Giulia Mara Piccin (Forza Italia), wanted to shed light on the modalities of payment of compensation to farmers and on the number of applications presented and states: "The regional council in response to my question pointed out that there is no delay in the payment of compensation for damage done by wildlife to agricultural crops, with respect to the terms established by the regulatory provisions, and it can be assumed that the proceedings will be completed by the end of July. "
But he underlines: “The serious problem of the devastation of the fields by wild boars. In March I had submitted to the regional councilor and offices the revolutionary significance of a sentence of the Constitutional Court on the subject of the control of wild boars. The approach according to which i licensed hunters, through specific training courses, they can be involved by the Forestry Corps. It was expected that the novelty would be incorporated into the regional regulatory framework: it is urgent to do so, because it is a crucial aspect to solve the problem.
