The alarm for the excessive number of wild boars it has crossed national borders, even if in the latter case it always remains within the peninsula. As told by Latribuna.sm, the woods and green areas of the Republic of San Marino have seen a worrying increase in ungulates, with consequent consequences damage to agricultural crops, people and cars. The farmers of the small state of Titano have denounced the situation which is no longer sustainable and have asked for an urgent intervention from the offices that deal with the matter.
The most affected areas are that of Castles of Faetano, Chiesanuova and Montegiardino, but not only. Furthermore, in Chiesanuova, wild boars have been seen grazing the town's flower beds, according to reports from several citizens. The involvement of the closest Italian areas, above all Valconca and Valmarecchia, It is inevitable. This is why the Rimini provincial section of the CIA (Italian Confederation of Farmers), Confagricoltura and Coldiretti turned to mayors, environmental associations and hunting associations.
Among other things, compensation for the damage caused by these animals has increased in the last four hunting seasons in the main Rimini districts and went from 1325 euros in 2012-2013 (140 items) to over 20 thousand euros in 2015-2016 (as many as 350 items).
