The official presentation of the 2025 edition of the initiative has just concluded in Florence, in a climate of participation and interest. “Women for Social”, which will be held on Sunday 4 May at the Tenuta di Suvignano (Monteroni d'Arbia, Siena), a symbolic property confiscated from the mafia and now managed by Ente Terre on behalf of the Tuscany Region. The presentation event was attended by the Vice President of the Tuscany Region Stefania Saccardi, the Regional President of Federcaccia Toscana–UCT Marco Salvadori, the head of the Coordination of Federcaccia Hunters Isabella Villa, Elisa Mazzei regional secretary of Federcaccia Toscana-UCT, the Provincial President of Siena Claudio Pucci, the creator and organizer of the event Rosa Mostardini and the President of the Lega del Filo d'oro of Pisa Jessica Bandinelli.
Strong social commitment
Now in its fifth edition, the initiative – promoted by the Coordinamento Cacciatrici Federcaccia – confirms itself as an eagerly awaited event that combines a passion for dog breeding, the valorization of the role of women in hunting and a strong social commitment. The day will in fact be dedicated to the dog-hunting aptitude test without shooting on natural game, reserved exclusively for women hunters and dog handlers accompanied by their pointing and hunting dogs, both English and continental. The program will be enriched by a falconry show by the group “I Falconieri del Re” and a charity lottery. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the “Lega del Filo d'Oro Onlus” Foundation, which has always been committed to supporting deafblind people and people with complex disabilities.
An evolving hunting world
