There are still nine months to go to the 2016 World Championships for the pointing dogs, but the selections began in the last few hours with the important comparison between the "Under 30" and "Lady" categories in the federal zone Collacchioni. The presence of the president of the provincial section of Arezzo, Dominic Coradeschi, embellished the event, characterized by an excellent presence of game that tested the dogs and the skill of the hunters in the competition. The World Cup will take place in Denmark from 22 to 24 October next, in the meantime it was the turn of the "Lady" battery entrusted to Ivo Pulcinelli, new technical manager of the geographical area of Central Italy.
The selection of the Sant'Uberto World Cup team will be the task of Corrado Ottaviani as regards the North, the same Pulcinelli for the Center and Mimmo Colucci for the South. The ladies test has been passed by Pauline Gobbi, which already boasts important results in the international arena: as underlined by Pulcinelli's report, Gobbi was very safe with the gun and fired flawlessly, leading the Breton Bianca with experience.
In addition, she managed to score three points on the pheasant and to exploit an interesting search method, with firm expressiveness and good retrieval. There are also several young people under 30 who would be worth following and who represent excellent hopes for our country. Particularly, Hunting Federation he wanted to mention the names of Matteo Frigato, Gregorio D'Ambrosio e Nicolò Albani, who are asked, among other things, to guarantee generational change. One of these young people will also participate in the Danish World Cup, so it will be a unique opportunity to be taken on the fly. Matthew Frigato he will be able to participate in this selection and has been defined correct in the preliminaries and with a good experience as regards the management, even if with some whistles too many.
The dog also proved to be committed and passionate, on some occasions independent (he did not respond to calls) but also capable of patrolling the entire land he had available with a good method, without forgetting the firm expression. At the Center, however, he excelled Loris DeFilippo with kurzhaar Global: he found three pheasants (53 points) and therefore the right to be selected. Same goes for Antonio Romano in the South, who scored 54 points together with his Breton Fabio and equally won the right to be selected to participate in the World Championships in October.
