Mondo Caccia and Mondo Pesca 2013 mark the record of attendance with the appreciation of associations and enthusiasts. 13.170 visitors with a 25% increase. Paris Mazzanti, “a good result to have brought so many visitors to the fair”. Many appointments for the presentation of thematic publications and meetings of the national sport fishing commissions. A few hours after the official closing, Mondo Caccia and Mondo Pesca recorded an evident success with the public which is perceived by visiting the exhibition area and which is underlined by those who directly experienced the three intense days. “In 2012 the two events were held separately - says the director of Carrara Fiere Paris Mazzanti, but comparing the data we see an increase of + 25% in visitors with a total of 13.170 admissions to this edition. We are satisfied because it is a success that was perceived by the exhibitors but which also clearly emerges from our direct checks. The support, collaboration and direct commitment of the associations that involved associates and practitioners in many initiatives was very important, but it was also important to have brought the two events together, also aiming at promoting the products of both supply chains ”.
The judgment, with evaluations linked to individual activities, is shared by the representatives of various associations. For Augusto Comes, head of Federcoopesca-Confcooperative for Liguria, who carried out numerous activities in his “Water Theater”, it was “a formidable opportunity to make the entire fishing industry known. For years we have been carrying out a large project that aims to relate the world of fishing, with all its actors and its tourist, commercial and cultural proposals, with an audience of users interested in an offer ranging from fishing to tourism to the producers of boats, equipment and services. It is a promotion that is realized with many initiatives in our space and that, thanks to the collaboration of the Liguria Region and that of the associations representing all sectors, from fishing to tourism to industry, in Mondo Pesca finds the ideal event for its promotion ".
Francesco Ciarrocchi provincial director of Coldiretti, the association that curated a large promotional space where he presented fish and agricultural products “with satisfaction because we have strengthened last year's success. We liked the synergy that this event allows to activate between the world of fishing and that of hunting. This is confirmed by the public success of the tastings where we offered dishes with products from the land and the sea accompanied with fish wines for which we held a competition with a mixed jury made up of experts and consumers. It is with these initiatives that the value of the supply chain is made known in which the products not only coexist but enhance each other ".
The community of hunters finds itself in the event and Carlo Romanelli, president of Federcaccia Massa Carrara, while attending one of the many initiatives that took place at the Itinerant Hunting Museum where many authors of books on hunting and not only have paraded, underlines that "there is enthusiasm because an event has been created that brings together all the souls and all the acronyms of hunting and makes them feel the protagonists of a vision that belongs to them: that of hunting practiced and experienced in a unique event that, for the first time volta makes sport, tradition and sustainability coexist successfully, welcoming many editorial and cultural initiatives that demonstrate the vitality of hunting ".
For the army of amateur, sports and professional fishermen who belong to the National Sport Fishing Federation, the appointment is one not to be missed and the 2013 edition has reached full maturity. Stefano Sarti, national vice president of FIPSAS sea sector and always very active supporter “is an event in further growth. We are present to promote all activities related to sport fishing and we are very satisfied because all the initiatives we have organized have had a strong participation. We are proud of the presence of many young people interested in the fishing world but we must also underline that we have at the fair the meetings of twelve national commissions that coordinate the activities of as many fishing areas and that have a precise reference in this event ".
The evaluations of the exhibitors were very positive. The prestigious brands of hunting are unanimous in judgment. For Morris Catan, Benelli marketing manager present with the most complete and prestigious range of his rifles “We are satisfied, good turnout, a lot of curiosity from hunters and willingness to buy. The most admired? From the "Raffaello Power Bore 12 gauge" to the Supreme up to the limited edition Argo 12 but also the engraved 28 gauge Legacy is a "piece" that attracts not only the great connoisseurs. Our guns (220.000 pieces sold in 2012) go mainly abroad where, as in Italy, a gun is bought for quality, name, prestige, but also for after-sales assistance. "
Even more positive was the evaluation of Fabio Beretta, the owner of EffeBi Armi, who presented the house specialties: shotguns and over-and-under shots with Master and Omega that catch the eye. “Those who did not participate were wrong. Excellent turnout, many contacts and denials even those who thought that the period was not the best. We have had many contacts - concludes Beretta - and we will certainly be present at the next edition ”.
The opinion of Giuseppe Fusco, owner of Natura By Marsupio, the top quality line in hunting accessories, present on the market since 1976, is very articulated: “A nice promotional opportunity. We have had many interesting contacts because our products attract the advanced consumer, hunters who love hunting and excellent accessories that help to appreciate the most positive aspects of this sport and here we have really met many ”. Still in the field of technical clothing for hunting in the mountains, Roberto Brunel, owner of Brunel Sport, sees an event that is growing well and that has good prospects for success in the coming years.
The leaders of ASD, Primo Legionari Apuani present with Marco Mosti and Gerardo Autuori who set up an information space “to promote Softair, a discipline that takes place in the open air with harmless weapons, were enthusiastic. There is great interest - they say in unison - for an activity that allows you to stay in the middle of nature and which takes place with precise rules that excite practitioners of all ages ”.
