Mondo Caccia is coming from Friday 8 to Sunday 10 June, the second fair of traditional and sustainable hunting. Weapons, accessories, clothing and ammunition but also many events for lovers of culture and hunting traditions.
Ninety exhibitors on 4.500 square meters, to which are added about 2.000 square meters dedicated to exhibitions and events, will participate in Mondo Caccia the second edition of the traditional and sustainable hunting show held in Carrara Fiere from Friday 8 to Sunday XNUMX June to present the most up-to-date offer of a sector that counts in Italy a real army of enthusiasts and practitioners.
“A sector that proves capable of managing a profound renewal and, without giving up traditional activities, acquires the innovations that come from companies and research, integrating them into a modern landscape that does not give up the charm of a story based on direct practice. These are distinctive features that led us to re-propose the show in an autonomous form, in a period that facilitates the visit of fans - says Paris Mazzanti, director of Carrara Fiere, presenting the event - and the choice proved to be right because the number (+ 30%) of memberships and quality, but also the technical and cultural offer that Mondo Caccia offers to enthusiasts ".
In the Carrara Fiere pavilions (entrance 5, via maestri del Marmo, info www.mondocacciaexpo.it) visitors will be able to evaluate a varied and complete offer: from weapons to ammunition, from clothing to safety, from accessories to outdoor activities up to tools for shooting without forgetting specialized publishing and the offer of trips dedicated to hunters.
For practitioners Mondo Caccia offers companies that exhibit the most prestigious technical brands while for lovers of culture and accessories the show will offer many innovations and discoveries in completely new fields such as shooting with laser weapons and airsoft rifles while for those who want to try rediscovering the sensations of the past it will be possible to experience archery on a shooting range set up by the federation which intends to promote a discipline that always has new fans.
Hunting is a sporting practice but also an expression of a culture based on a direct relationship with nature at all times of the day and in all its expressions, capable of renewing itself in forms and methods but without losing sight of a strong and profound culture. The many appointments scheduled during the three days of the fair refer to these aspects: events ranging from publishing to culture to technical issues without forgetting scientific research and the enhancement of breeds thanks to the collaboration of the main hunting and cultural associations that consider the Carrara show a technical reference event.
The Migratory Birdlife Office of Federcaccia organizes on Friday 8th "Let's talk about Woodcocks: satellite investigations to reveal the secrets of the Queen of the Woods" while the Union of Hunters of the Apennines (URCA) will take care of two initiatives on Saturday 9 June: a "Report on the hunting of selection in the province of Massa Carrara ”which will be followed by a conference on“ importance and technical-practical aspects of using the track dog ”.
Also on Saturday, with the presentation of the book “Segugio Maremmano, a new breed for the hunting of tomorrow”, the fascination of a precious breed will be discovered and these insuperable hounds will be observed in real life. Ungulates will be discussed with the presentation of a new work on deer: “For stages, bells and forests”. Sunday 10 will be reserved for "small calibers" and the volume "Once upon a time there was hunting".
