The first Sunday of August, this year on August 4, 2013, has been the fixed appointment in the calendar of events in Ascrea for 27 years (a village of just 200 souls overlooking Lake Turano, in the province of Rieti). So much has passed since that distant 1986 when this adventure began almost for fun that from a sort of "spaghetti" for the locals it has become one of the major manifestations of the Turano Valley. In the enchanting scenery of Lake Turano throughout the day (from 12 to 24), Fettuccine with porcini mushroom is distributed, a specialty that has made the town famous and that evokes the culinary tradition of these places. The evening will be enlivened by live music that allows fans to rejoice with dances of all kinds. We also point out the presence of various stands where you can find typical products of the area and curiosities of various kinds. Appointment therefore Sunday 4th August 2013 in the splendid Piazza Mareri to participate in what will be the XXVII edition of this appointment, to spend a day immersed in the natural wonders of the Turano Valley not without having tried the local gastronomic delights!
We remind you that you can use the shuttle bus service to reach the square after having parked the car along the road that leads to the town and that the event will take place in a covered tensile structure.
