Wild Boar Management: A Congress for Wild Boar Management in the Trento area is scheduled for 20 March.
On Saturday 20 March 2010 at 14.30 pm in the municipal theater of Terragnolo a meeting to discuss the problems relating to the management of wild boar in the Trento area. The event is organized by the Trentino Hunters Association and will have the title "Wild boar in the Alps: between management and control of a problem". The congress will be configured as a real table of experts and technicians of the sector who will come across a discussion of the problems that need to be solved.
The discussion will take shape as an analysis of the management of the same problem by other regions and provinces in the hope that a comparison with other models will make it clear which is the best solution to adopt. The results of the other congresses will also be discussed here, in particular the results of the meeting that will take place on March 13 in Lecco entitled "The management of wild boar strategies compared" which will be discussed in detail by the wildlife manager of the Province of Lecco Pietro Gatti .
The congress will also see the interventions of the representatives of the various provinces: Giorgio Carmignola will speak for the Autonomous Province of Bolzano, Ruggero Giovannini for the Autonomous Province of Trento, Gianmaria Sommavilla and Franco De Bon for the Province of Belluno while for the province of Verona Ivano Confortini. Also present will be a representative of the Friuli Venezia Giulia region, Andrea Cadamuro, and of the province of Pistoia, Sandro Nicoloso as well as Giancarlo Bonavigo of the FIdC of Vicenza and Lucio Luchesa of the ATC A2 Vallagarina of Trento.
