In the Veneto Region, work is being carried out on a new Wildlife Hunting Plan to replace the current one which will expire next year.
During a meeting in Venice, at Palazzo Ferro-Fini, with the council commission "Agriculture, hunting and fishing", the councilor Daniele Stival explained that the current Wildlife Hunting Plan will be extended to have time to complete the drafting. of the text of the future Wildlife Plan containing the hunting wildlife program that will be valid for the period from 2012 to 2017.
Councilor Stival states, "The Regional Council will ask the Council to extend the current hunting wildlife plan expiring next January 31 to 2012 December 31".
Furthermore, Stival wanted to specify, “This is a particularly complex plan also in light of the new regulations introduced by the European directives on Vas, Strategic Environmental Assessment”.
As part of a memorandum of understanding, the new regional plan will be implemented together with the seven provincial plans.
