ExpoRiva Caccia Pesca Ambiente 2015: The target of 15.000 visitors exceeded, success with the public and in sales.
The 29-year edition of ExpoRiva Caccia Pesca Ambiente ended positively on Sunday 15.312 March. The fair dedicated to hunting, in particular alpine and selection hunting, and to fishing, mainly fly fishing and spinning, exceeded the target it had set by registering 9 admissions (+ 2014% on the XNUMX edition). In fact, for hunters and fishermen, ExpoRiva Caccia Pesca Ambiente is increasingly a special event, with an unparalleled mix of commercial proposals, folklore, collateral initiatives, cultural events. The two round tables which opened the day on Friday are of absolute importance. Assoarmieri, with "Franchi Food Academy", presented a meeting dedicated to the nutritional values of game. Unpublished the appointment to follow, between operators of the hunting media, led by Massimo Vallini, on the theme "Communicating hunting - Present and future of hunting publishing". The Riva fair is now a privileged meeting place for dog handlers who this year organized an international meeting with the participation of Austrian, Swiss and Slovenian groups and 12 Italian provinces. With it, two major events for specialists: a meeting entitled "Recovery of the injured animal, a primary duty" and the third edition of the "Riva del Garda Meetings" a very popular annual round table dedicated to the training of the conductor. As always, the “Half hour with the expert” was a success, a series of debate meetings with prominent figures in the hunting scene. Great public success (almost 1.000 votes in the urn) for “Expo Riva Scheiben”, the international exhibition / competition for painters who make traditional targets in painted wood. The theme of the competition, won by the Austrian Hubert Prochaska was “The wild boar conquers the Alps”. The naturalistic photography exhibition with shots by Riccardo Camusso, Roland Innerkofler and Alessandro Seletti is also very popular. There was also the literary appointment with the VIII edition of the International Literary Competition "Giacomo Rosini - Stories of hunting and life in the mountains" organized by Ars Venandi, won by Ivan Bettina Piazza and Mauro Cattalini.
There are also numerous initiatives for fishing enthusiasts. “Boom” of participants and the public for the many innovations that have accompanied this decade. The Hardy Cast Competition, won by Adriano Gardumi, saw about twenty professionals compete in the large launch pool (45 meters, the largest pool ever built in Italy for a fair) specially set up outside. The considerable size of the pool was also the “gymnasium” for the two-handed performances of the ace Robert Gillespie and for the one-handed demonstrations of Maurizio Bellinaso. Another very well-attended competition (120 participants) was the VII edition of the “Dolomiti Energia Trophy”, organized by APDG Rovereto 96. The Tiemco Trophy with 30 members also saw manufacturers of national caliber at work. Success and satisfaction for the 2nd edition of the “Tell Me Fishing” competition, the 3-minute video contest dedicated to “shorts” which saw 24 films from all over the world in competition, again won by the excellent Jonas Borinski. The free internships "Do you want to make your first fly?" dedicated to small visitors organized by IFTA (Italian Fly Tier Association). The “Char on the table” format, show cooking by the “passionate chefs” by L'Artificio Cucina & Dintorni, who explained and proposed recipes based on freshwater fish, came out of the box and was much appreciated. 350 portions served to members of the cooking workshops organized at the fair. Three launch tanks (two for the fly and one for spinning) set up inside and outside the pavilions where you could test the equipment for sale.
It was obviously the edition of the celebrations, culminating in the great gala dinner, in the Salone delle Feste of the Casino of Arco which proved to be the perfect place to reward thirteen loyal companies that, since the first edition, have taken part in the fair. A party enlivened by the extraordinary group of horn players JHBG Maltatal from Carinthia. The appointment with the eleventh edition of ExpoRiva Hunting Fishing Environment is already set for 18/19/20 March 2016!
