Pass: Bad news for our migratory pass in the country. The feedback on the Pass at the «FEIN» in Arosio.
Under torrential water, which began on the afternoon of Saturday 20, even the small hopes that had been reported to us in the high mountains of the arrival of consistent flights of Fieldfare together with the appearance of the first white blanket of 2010, they remained without any practical result, creating a strong disillusionment in those who had planned an absolutely positive day for Sunday 21st. The rain, on the other hand, made it king. In short, once again the late autumn pass was devoid of any consistency.
All to be postponed until next year, or is there still hope? We believe that there is still a last margin of hope with the full moon of December 5 before the classic date of the Immaculate Conception (December 8) as long as the temperature drops, the snow peeps out in the medium and low hills to bring down this mythical fascinating turdide towards the plain. But our wishes have been disillusioned many times this season especially by the weather conditions.
In this regard, however, these weather conditions, negative for Italy and the south of France, were positive in Greece and in the south of the Balkans where a high pressure area has been created for some time (at the end of October) which has favored the very positive descent of turdidae, woodcock and other migratory birds. We will talk about it again next week.
