The great majority of hunters of the "Comasche Prealps" Alpine Hunting Area has decided not to withdraw the badges and bracelets for the authorization to take wild boars. This "strike" is causing a lot of sensation in the hunting world and in the meantime the politics has intervened with some declarations. Particularly Mauro Navio, issue of the provincial Federcaccia of Como, commented on the story as follows: "The bureaucratic difficulties that hinder the exercise of a useful hunt such as boar hunting must be overcome as soon as possible.
It is important that the question of the geolocation of the abatements and, in rapid succession, it is equally important that the boundaries within which food enticement do not constitute a crime are delineated. One cannot go hunting on the one hand with the heavy burden of regulations or rules that are difficult to apply, on the other with the sword of Damocles of possible implications in criminal proceedings".
On June 20 there will be an important meeting with Fabio Rolfi, Councilor for Agriculture of the Lombardy Region, a long-awaited appointment to restore territorial balance.
