A bad start to the week for the hunting world. To the Senate in fact, all the amendments presented by the League regarding the so-called have been withdrawn "Simplifications" Law Decree and which served to resolve various reasons for litigation on the hunting regulation. Emotionalism got the better of it once again, as these same amendments were misdiagnosed "Shooter" to leverage public opinion and convince it that it was something wrong.
Associations such as ENPA, LAC, LAV, LIPU and WWF can only be happy with what has been decided in the last few hours, a retreat that however few would have expected. The amendments were used, for example, to bring greater clarity to the question of the annotation on the hunting card of the culled heads. Another in-depth topic was the use of specially trained personnel for operations related to the wildlife containment (first and foremost wild boars, the species that is dominating the national chronicles).
Animalists and conservationists cheered and there was no doubt about this gut reaction, although they should explain why more detailed information was not provided on long-standing and complicated issues. The bugbear of European Union infringements in the hunting field does not exist, but in the meantime the amendments are no longer there.
