On the issue the commissioner Bonelli explained, "In order to start the surveillance activities starting from August 30st, we have planned to grant the volunteer hunting guards available a flat rate reimbursement in the amount of XNUMX euros per day and the recognition, if they use their own vehicle, one fifth of the cost of gasoline. To avoid supervisory overlaps on the territory, the coordination of the project will be entrusted to the provincial police. "
The commissioner of the ATC, Nicola Savino, stressed that “In addition to supervision, the ordinary management of the Area provides for other activities to be faced with the scarce resources at our disposal. An availability that we have been able to double, with a precise assumption of responsibility that we did not want to take away, also allowing access to hunters from outside the region. With a force that does not exceed 80 thousand euros we must also face current expenses and wildlife restocking, taking into account any advances to farmers and agricultural land tenants for damage caused by wildlife. "
Finally, on the subject, the President of the Province, Franco Stella concluded, "In the belief that the hunting activity of ATC" A "must be able to be carried out in harmony with the principles of conservation of fauna and in compliance with the principles of legality and efficiency, we are carrying out a functional reorganization project that will not fail to support even those who voluntarily work for the surveillance service.
