Luca Braia, Councilor for Agriculture of the Basilicata region, announced that from today, Friday 20 April 2018, until Sunday 22 there will be three days of tests for thequalification of other limieri dogs to be used in the hunting in turn. The events were organized by the Ente Nazionale Cinofilia Italiana (ENCI), a series of training activities that are considered fundamental for planning the faunal-hunting matter.
The tests in question will take place at the Tempa Bianca hunting farm located in Matera. There will then be the departure of further training courses to reach the achievement of the regional certificate as regards the qualification for the control of problematic fauna, namely wild boars, foxes and corvids. The students who have enrolled amount to 288: 187 of them will take part in the course concerning wild boars, undoubtedly the most popular. The other 101 participants, on the other hand, will attend the lessons that will enable the control of foxes and corvids.
The qualification is the consequence of passing the final exam, with a lot of written test, oral interview and a practical test for the handling of the weapon. Unlike the limiere dog course, these other courses will be held at the Conference Room "Auditorium Sant'Anna" of Matera. Participation bodes well for what concerns the inscriptions of the future wildlife-hunting training.
