Bruno Modugno returns to climb the heights of Ebooks with his latest creation "The Breath of Things". The publisher is GeMs (Mauri Spagnol Publishing Group) and can be downloaded simply from the Libraio.it website.
Journalist, television author, host of cultural programs and director. Bruno Modugno is this and much more. But above all he is a writer, and with his "The Breath of Things”, Published by the GeMS publishing group, is presented to its public of readers in a new format, which breaks with the past and looks to the future, the ebook.
Yet the book dusts the memories and the past, retraces a life, crosses a land, tells of a passion. The tasty descriptions of the places transport the reader to the Maremma, populated by wild boars, by vaccines with long lunate horns, but also by creatures lost in mystery, real or the result of hallucinations.
We find ourselves in the morning rite of the alarm clock that precedes the hunt, in the path that leads to any stone at the edge of the bush, when from under the jacket the shivers run through the back, and the bushes and stones illuminated by the faint beam of light of a torch, they turn into wild boars, which also do not move.
And the reader is mistaken for a long moment to be Daniele, the protagonist who waits, who questions himself and gives himself answers, retracing his own life with a gun in his hand.
That, after all, this is hunting, waiting for the right moment, a calibrated challenge, patience measured by experience and wisdom. And during the wait it happens to stumble into the past, to relive a life, to tell it exactly as you remember it.
This is exactly what happens to Daniele, a fictional character who also rents the memories of the author who is a writer of the soul, and does not invent the events and feelings, but who searches inside and offers them with his clear and powerful writing. , to the reader.
