The second edition of Ca.Pe.Tav., The Bastia Umbra market exhibition dedicated to hunting, fishing and skeet shooting, which boasts the presence of over 200 stands of the most important national and foreign companies in the sector, has come to life.
Yesterday there was an excellent influx of visitors who also took part in some of the most anticipated events of the program: from the exhibition of the snappers to that of the recovery of injured dogs and ungulates, from the truffle hunting test with Lagotto Romagnolo dogs to the exhibition of falconers.
Among the authorities intervened the regional councilor Fernanda Cecchini (who chaired the focus "The importance of monitoring in fisheries management"), the president of the province of Perugia Marco Vinicio Guasticchi, the honorable Luciano Rossi, the provincial councilor Aviano Rossi and the regional councilor Massimo Buconi, just to name a few.
A real event was the "Colombaccio e Sagrantino" lunch organized by the Club del Colombaccio and prepared by the cook Edda di Amelia who flash blackjack has conquered the most refined palates. Among the guests also the engineer Luciano Cesarini, owner of the Cantina Sartori Cesarini, who offered the delicious “Rosso Bastardo” and “Peperosa”. Many appointments are scheduled for tomorrow, the last day of Ca.Pe.Tav.ia, starting with the dog beauty show that will see the participation of more than 400 animals (starting at 9.00 am) and the national Lagotto Romagnolo dog meeting.
The first meeting will also be held at 9 am, which could decide the constitution of a first form of national association in Bastia. At the same time, the shooting competition on the simulator reserved exclusively for women will begin (registration is free, as a prize a rifle offered by the Fausti sisters). At 10.30 the commissioner Cecchini will chair the focus "The timing of hunting in the light of the new legislation" which will be attended by political authorities and institutions of the neighboring regions: this is an important appointment for hunters, expected that next Monday the discussion for the definition of the 2011/2012 hunting calendar will begin.
