Mr Barbara Mazzali, regional councilor of the Lombardia, published the following post on Facebook in the last few hours: “Dear friends, today we have to pass from sightings to assaults. Unfortunately, we are not surprised, but maybe finally some living room animalists will open their eyes.
We keep talking about 100kg animals that load with one unprecedented power how about pet? Anyone at the Ministry WAKES UP ????? Here's what happened over the past couple of days:
- BOLOGNA A 43-year-old was attacked by a wild boar in Parco dei Cedri. "It was a large animal - said the man - I was taking a bike ride and I saw it and come out and run like crazy towards me, when he reached me I had the instinct to use the bicycle as a shield, at which point he changed direction and headed quickly towards an area full of people "
- GENOA A 60-year-old homeless man was bitten by a wild boar in San Fruttuoso. The man was holding a bag with food which evidently attracted the animal, which first bit him and then chased him. The 60-year-old was rescued by an ambulance, who accompanied him to the hospital ".
A wild animal should be treated like a wild animal! the people first feed him and he approaches without fear, then if he is bitten, he realizes that the wild boar is not as Peppa's cousin PIg believes
