The Italian hunting world, first of all Federcaccia, Arcicaccia and Enalcaccia represented by UNA Onlus Foundation, is at the forefront of the fight against Covid-19 and joins the other companies and associations that are making their important contribution to the territory in the fight against the emergency. To date, donations from the hunting sector have exceeded one million euros (1.200.000 €); the individual territorial realities are also engaged in voluntary activities in support of the city communities affected by the consequences of the virus.
UNA Onlus Foundation has chosen to declare all donations and the fundraising started by the various bodies and associations of the national hunting scene, on their website, under the claim # UNAresponsibilità, to confirm the commitment made to hospitals, doctors, nurses, health workers and technicians, patients and all those who are at the forefront of the battle against the Coronavirus. The primary objective remains, however, that of pushing to do more, involving new realities in the sector to give their contribution minimum contribution. Indeed, one of the values on which the creation of the UNA Foundation is based is respect for nature, the environment and man.
At this particular time, human health is under serious threat, and intervening to preserve it is, for the UNA Foundation, an essential action. UNA Foundation renews its invitation to follow the rules of daily conduct indicated by the Government and endorsed by scientists and experts, with the common goal of containing the risk of a further spread of the infection and of overcoming this difficult moment, because today even the simplest precaution is an important civic act. The Foundation takes this opportunity to thank all the hunting associations, national and local offices, and the individual hunters who, placing themselves as true Paladins of the Territory, are contributing in an important way to protection of their communities.
