FIDC | We find it quite strange, but to some it seems to be normal, to share common paths when there seems to be some form of convenience and then come up with strange accusations. It is the case, and it is not even the first time it has happened, of the latest press release from Arci Caccia. The same one who sits with us in the control room, shares the initiatives and exchanges of ideas, signed with us and the other associations the joint press release of 9 May last in which they distanced themselves from the 5-star proposal disguised as a norm for the protection of animals and who instead advocates the abolition of article 842 and participated, again with us and the others, in the meeting of Bastia Umbra with the Hon. Gallinella.
Arci Caccia shouldn't even have escaped the top management - and if that were the case, a little attention would not hurt - the clear distancing always on that issue that Federcaccia subsequently autonomously expressed precisely to clear up any doubts about his position. In light of the foregoing, we find it difficult to explain the statement released yesterday in which Federcaccia is accused of aiming at the privatization of hunting on the basis of an article in which it is absolutely not mentioned and which does not contain its statements and the fact that Eps in Tuscany is part of the Confederation of Tuscan Hunters together with the regional Federcaccia and two other hunting associations. The only explanation, which we obviously don't like, is that to hit the CCT, and since Federcaccia was there as a whole, Arci decided to use the argument of article 842 of the civil code in search of recovery of some consensus, waving the flag of the class struggle in a rearguard battle.
"If there was still a need - declared the national president Massimo Buconi - Federcaccia reiterates its clear opposition and with no possibility of interpretation to the abrogation of 842. If this is the beginning of relations with my presidency, I think it is better to clarify immediately that in the face of this way of doing we will not stand by and observe in silence. The correctness and linearity of behavior must be such at all levels and it is not with these foundations that we can build that comparison that we consider necessary is essential to make hunting grow. Precisely because we are convinced of the need for unity in the hunting world, it will still be my concern in the coming days to meet the national president Arci Caccia for an all-round clarification, certain that a shared path can arise from this.".
"The Communiqué of Arci Caccia is proof of the confusional state that has been reigning for some time in an association now devoid of compass and torn apart by continuous internal diatribes - said the regional president of Federcaccia Toscana Marco Salvadori commenting on the story -. Accusing Federcaccia, convinced of its commitment to building the unitary process within the Confederation of Tuscan Hunters, of supporting the attempt to repeal art. 842 of the Civil Code is an unacceptable insinuation, however denied by the documents and official press releases of the Federation itself. An attempt in the aftermath of the loss of thousands of members, to regain from what remains of Arci Caccia, an unlikely image of defenders of public hunting. I want to be clear right away: the somewhat clumsy attempt to try to divide the Tuscan Federcaccia from the national one will not pass. These gentlemen resign themselves, that unlike what happens in their home, Federcaccia is one and all committed in the same direction, on a platform that the National Assembly itself sanctioned a few days ago ”.
