Mammoths, cave bears, but also the Neanderthal family and rare fossils. TO HIT Show 2019 "Outdoor Passion", the international exhibition dedicated to hunting, sport shooting and outdoor (Vicenza exhibition center, next 9-11 February), the exhibition "The origins of man and hunting" will be set up, created in collaboration with the Civic Museum of Natural History of Jesolo.
The exhibition will be set up in Hall 1 and will offer a special scenography with extremely realistic reconstructions and elements of great involvement even for the little ones. The exhibition will immerse visitors in a large oak forest, with an area of 150 m2 that will see natural material such as leaves, moss, trunks positioned on the ground, that is the typical environment of the last ice age.
Inside the scenography, a faithful reconstruction of a life-size adult Mammoth, 2,80 meters high, alongside a baby mammoth and the rare reconstructions of a Mammoth 'Lyuba', found in Russia in 2007, and Mammut 'Dima ', found in Siberia in 1977. A setting enriched by the reconstruction of a cave bear, 3 meters high.
Alongside the animals, also the tent, made with 8 copies of mammoth tusks and animal skins, and the Neanderthal family, faithfully reproduced with great attention to detail in life-size: a crouching adult woman, a child and three adult males in hunting attitude. Another gem of the exhibition, a couple of display cabinets with precious original fossils and tools in flint and bone for hunting and fishing.
