THELombard Hunters Association took a stand on what was said and written by Susanna Tamaro, the famous writer of "Go where your heart takes you" who without half measures blamed and threw mud on the hunters for the death of her little dog Piglet, poisoned by a morsel thrown to the ground by who knows who. Here's what ACL wrote about it: "We are deeply outraged by these completely gratuitous accusations, devoid of logic and foundation, which the writer has exposed on "social" and in print. As ACL we feel offended with you and with those who offer you such a large sounding board.
First of all, neither her, Tamaro, e not even who wrote the article they know the name of the author of the despicable gesture of throwing poisoned morsels in the woods, but above all if he knew hunting well, arguing between the lines that he did not want to criminalize it by claiming to be friends with many hunters, he would know that hunters are not so masochistic as to want to harm themselves and often they are the first victims of such absurd ambushes. For the hunter, it is well known that the dog is not only an auxiliary aid in the hunting practice but above all a faithful friend, treated with all possible affection in respect of animal welfare and much more.
We expect increased attention therefore and more respect from those who offer to give breath to these false and tendentious news, moreover in the absence of evidence. We invite the well-known writer to a serene and careful attention reflection on the question, suggesting the title of a future book…. “Don't go where resentment takes you!”. Difficult to wait for an apology from Tamaro, we expect instead a replica published in the well-known national newspaper, which would be deontologically opportune and correct, in respect of the thousands of readers who want to be made to believe lies ”.
