THEENPA (National Animal Protection Body) has decided to write to the Public Insurance Services Concessionaire (CONSAP) at the end of the hunting season 2019-2020 for a particular request and which is causing discussion. The animal rights association intends to raise the insurance ceilings, in particular those concerning those who practice wild boar hunting.
As Carla Rocchi wrote, who is the national president of the body itself, the concessionaire should take note of it for several reasons: “In the spirit of our mission aimed at the protection of animals but very attentive to people's rights, we have reported to the institutions the serious issue of public safety. It is a complex issue that is generally underestimated or even ignored. Yet it is a social issue ”.
I as provincial president with a bit of common sense have always advised and made my associates policy cards with UNIQUE and high ceilings, because it is NOT the 20 or 30 Euros per year that change your life; they change it instead of a lot, if a judge condemns you to compensate for damages exceeding the limits that you are insured; because the civil code is clear, where it does NOT cover the insurance, it will instead be the hunter who will have to cover the missing sum established by the judge in the compensation from his own pocket!
