Claiming that the hunting season is an understatement: the shooting hunting season has ended, but the preparation season for next fall. Who is struggling with calls and huts, who with their dogs in view of the training and dog competitions already started, who for future censuses: we are all already active. It is the beauty of hunting, a passion that lasts all year. Our associates tell me they are generally happy: the migratory workers lived a fair year, especially in the plains; ungulates tend to increase; the delay of the opening of the typical alpine did not influence the hunting activity; the hare in some areas was closed early, but I learn that the game bags were important and in any case it was hunted in the ATC, thanks to Federcaccia's proposal, at least until November 10th. However, it is not enough and we will be evaluating further proposals shortly.
I too am personally satisfied with hunting, but this should have been the year of the much hoped for reopening of the Roccoli. Instead, there were also appeals regarding the reductive calendar and supplementary days. Federcaccia Lombardia did not shy away from its action to protect hunting, committing itself to the front line in all these proceedings. On the subject of operators a wild boar, corvids and pigeons, we are constantly active in the institutional dialogue. The national regulatory framework, despite the need for action, is not favorable. The inconvenience regarding the delivery of the badges should no longer be repeated, as for the next season they will be delivered home to all those who have returned it.
The payment of the regional concession tax of € 64,56 through pagoPa represents a serious inconvenience, to which Federcaccia Bergamo will cope by generating and printing the related payment notices. I would like to thank the managers of Federcaccia (municipal presidents, provincial councilors, representatives at the management bodies) and other associations for their constant commitment, but above all the thousands of Federcacciatori who, with their support, allow Federcaccia to intervene in recoursei, finance various scientific research projects, organize training courses e sports activities, ensure the best hunters and guarantee the service through the provincial office (The President of Federcaccia Bergamo - Michele Bornaghi).
