The text of the Campania substantially follows the last year's calendar with some changes, such as the insertion of the wood pigeon in pre-opening. Nothing to do for the request of the hunting associations on lapwing and pochard, eliminated from huntable species by virtue of the aforementioned precautionary principle. For wild boar confirmation for hunting from 1 October to 31 December, with three days a week until November 15, after which they will drop to two.
The hunting periods and the huntable species in the pSIC, SIC and ZPS areas are as follows:
• from 1 to 31 October 2020: quail and dove;
• from 1 October 2020 to 30 November 2020: gray partridge (only if it is present in the annual collection plans proposed by the ATC), wild rabbit;
• from 1 October 2020 to 30 December 2020: lark, woodcock, blackbird, pheasant (for this species hunting in December is possible only in the presence of an annual ATC sampling plan), fox and hare (for this species hunting is forbidden if the presence of Italian hare is documented);
• from 1 October 2020 to 31 December 2020 Species boar (Sus scrofa), exclusively in authorized jokes;
• from 1 October 2020 to 10 January 2021: cesena, song thrush, redwing thrush;
• from 1 October 2020 to 20 January 2021: teal, gadwall, coot, wigeon, moorhen, mallard, garganey, shoveler, magpie and jay; snipe exclusively in wandering hunting e whisk exclusively in wandering hunting;
• from 10 October 2020 to 10 February 2021 (in application of Article 18 paragraph 2 of Law 157/1992): wood pigeon (for this species from 2 January to 10 February 2021 only hunting from stalking and maximum daily game bag of five heads);
• from 10 October to 10 February 2021: hooded crow (for species from 2 January to 10 February 2021, only hunting from stalking).
For the period from the 20 January to the 10 February 2021 It is forbidden to place the stalks less than five hundred meters from the wetlands frequented by water birds or from rocky or partially rocky walls. Hunting for the Porciglione and Codone is not allowed in all "Natura 2000" areas, nor the control of the corvids by shooting the nest in the places where the presence of Lodolaio is possible (Falco subbuteo) and Owl (Asio otus). In order to limit the disturbance caused by hunting to protected bird species, in the Special Protection Areas (SPAs) hunting is allowed only from 7:00 to 12:00, with the exception of wild boar hunting where there are specific hunting areas. The previous indications are coordinated with what is established in the following paragraph "Prohibitions in Natura 2000 Areas", in case of discrepancy the more restrictive indication prevails.
