In Campania, non-resident hunters cannot access the areas adjacent to the regional parks; for the Hon. Baldi urges a "correction".
On the eve of August XNUMXth, the Campania Region issued a decree which forbids non-resident hunters from accessing the contiguous areas to regional parks and therefore from being able to practice hunting there.
Thus, after many battles, one of the victories of the hunting world that had found in the new Regional Law on hunting, recently enacted thanks to the work of some regional councilors, which granted non-resident hunters the possibility of accessing the contiguous areas to the parks, fades. regional until reaching the hunting density.
In addition, in these days the TAR of Campania has blocked the pre-opening of the hunt, accepting the appeal presented by the WWF regarding the great drought of this period aggravated by the numerous forest fires that have hit the Campania region, up to the expected evaluation in the Council Chamber. for September 12th.
On the matter, the Hon. Giovanni Baldi commented, “A managerial act which, although anticipated in the negative effects for the hunting world by the recent sentence, we cannot accept tout court. All the more so because it was issued in a Ferragostan blitz a few days after the reopening of the hunting season. A widespread malaise and equally discontent has been created in the world of hunters who, on the other hand, had received with moderate satisfaction the new hunting law that had been dismissed by the Regional Council a few days ago ”.
Continuing, the Hon Baldi announced, "Upon the resumption of regional activities, I will ask for an immediate rectification decree with which we must reiterate that until the hunting density is reached it will also be possible for non-residents to go hunting in the areas adjacent to the Campania parks. . We must not be frightened by the bogeyman of appeals or the actions of those who could challenge it. In the meantime, we politicians will have to commit ourselves to more incisive actions such as the changes to the perimeter of the contiguous areas, with their significant territorial reduction and related constraints ”.
