“A famous saying states: a hunter is born and I, paraphrasing Totò, can say: I was born! From the tender age of eight, in fact, I spent my days in the company of my inseparable slingshot with which I snared lizards and birds visiting all the gardens of Rome.
Then it was the turn of real hunting, practiced in different specialties, with or without dogs but always with the same passion that today, after the age of eighty, prompted me to write these lines that tell of a hunting past in which many peers they can be found again while I leave the memories of a simpler world to the younger ones, but perhaps for this reason, more enjoyable.
