THETerritorial Area of Hunting Perugia 1 is organizing an interesting course for aspirants retrieval dog handlers. Anyone interested is kindly requested to report other courses held, specifically the one for conductor of limiere dog, enabled selector of cervids and bovids, head-hunt during wild boar hunting and the one for the qualification to contain the hooded crow and magpie.
The lessons prepared by the Umbrian ATC will have a total duration of sixteen hours, while the participation fee will be equal to 120 euros, including the teaching material to be used in this case. The dates of the course, the program and the participants enrolled for each single session they will be announced on the Perugia Area website in due course. The law currently in force on the recovery of wild game injured during hunting requires that it be carried out by handlers of track dogs.
The latter must also be in possession of a suitable one qualification issued by a judge of the Italian National Dog Association (ENCI), document to be renewed every two years. Renewal, on the other hand, is not mandatory when the auxiliary has at least recovered 5 heads during the hunting season with positive results. Among other things, the Regions set up special lists of dog handlers for recovery.
